Winter is upon us again. I hate winter running. It doesn’t matter how many layers I have on, running outside this time of the year is difficult. Most of the time it’s too dark out, it’s always cold, and then the wind kicks up.

Ok I ran on the treadmill for 30 minutes today. It was, shall we say, pure torture. One of the great things about outside running is that you can slow down to your own pace without realizing you have actually slowed down. The freaking treadmill I actually have to adjust the speed so I know that I’m slowing down.

But when it’s 15 degrees outside I think I have to adjust. I am determined to contine through it. Anyone have any thoughts?
