Taken the Team In Training Plunge

I jumped in! Both feet. Not felt the water, not walked in, but jumped in. And what a great feeling it is.

What am I talking about? I have committed to participate as a Team In Training runner. That means that there are weekly runs together, clinics, training seminars, fundraisers, and all kinds of other activities to support myself and other’s like to me to run in the Columbus Marathon. Of course there are other marathons that people are participating in as well, but this is the one I’m doing.

What do they ask for such great service? That I raise 1900.00 in support of the Leukemia Lymphoma society. I’m pretty excited. I went on the run last Saturday and it was a good run. I ran 3.5 in about 27 minutes. In case you don’t know me, that’s smoking. Of course the other activity that I do probably has something to do with it.

Keep checking in as I will have more information as time goes on.
