Why RunColumbus

A couple of years ago when I started to run again I got tired of trying to find races, places to run, information about running. It always seemed to be such a struggle for everyone to identify where to go to find the information for running. I originally started this site as an idea to develop into a business. But after a busy year I found that I couldn’t support the businesses that had wanted to pay for advertising. But I wanted to keep it going for those that had started to use it.

This blog is open for anyone to use. I have tried to not use it as my own personal blog but since I’m really the only using it, I am going to start using it more like that. As a blog it offers a certain amount of freedom. I find that when I keep track of what I do I do it better and feel better about it. I can see my progress. I am going to continue to research articles and publish what I find. I am not a medical professional or a certified personal trainer. I will try to reference all of the information I use in my articles or anything else I’m doing so you can see it. If you follow the advice and or the counsel here without talking to a medical professional(i.e. doctor) then you do so at your own risk.
